- Help! I have a box of diskettes that contain my very first programming
- experiments and projects, in 8050 format. I haven't even seen a
- directory listing of these in eleven and a half years. Does anyone
- around here still have such a drive? I just want to copy the data over
- to 4040/2031/1541/whatever format since I have a Commodore 64. This
- stuff has sentimental value to me, and the magnetic bits on those disks
- aren't going to last forever. From the 1541 I can read them into the
- PC and thence onto modern media via "Star Commander" (great program!)
- but anyway I mostly just want to see what's on there.
-
- Help me and get a free copy of my "Acme Word Factory" spelling program,
- complete with word database for grades 5-12 (245 block REL file)!
- A pretty fine PET character graphics hack, if I do say so myself.
-
- (Note: Distribution set to "ott". Won't work of course, sorry for
- wasting bandwidth all over the world.)
